What I Do

Welcome to Tabata Elisa Design.
I redesign and reupholster furniture in the "reclaim" capital
of America: Portland, Oregon.
By finding beautifully constructed furniture pieces of the past,
I specialize in giving that piece a face-lift
to fit your home and aesthetic.
If you desire a transformation of a piece you already own,
we will take a journey of creativity together to achieve
exactly the look that you desire.
I am committed to using a craftsman style approach
with all furniture to ensure that your order will stand the test of time.

Q & A

Custom Work

How do I start a custom order?
Shoot me an email and we can arrange a free consultation at a location that is convenient for you in the Portland Metro area. Or, if you prefer digital communication we can do that too!

What will we discuss at this meeting?
We will discuss your vision for your furniture piece, paint colors, stains, fabrics, sheen, style, and price estimates at this meeting.

Not sure what you want but have an old piece that needs updating?
Don't worry, I will walk with you every step of the way!

How long will a custom order take?
Depending on the project, custom orders can take anywhere from 1 to 3 weeks to complete depending on the complexity of the piece.

Can you source antique pieces for me?
Sure! I would love to source pieces for you! Because sourcing can be a lengthy process, I will include a $35 sourcing fee onto your final custom order price.
