Farmhouse Table Makeover
When a return customer, brought this table to me, I instantly got giddy over the metal work, detailed legs, and thick heavy wood. I knew it would be a lot of work but Ilona's carefree attitude, adaptable personality, and trust in me made me eager to start on her piece!
Through trial and error, I discovered the beauty and ease of using General Finishes Gel Stain when faced with obstacles such as I did with this table. My absolute favorite part about this project was having the creative freedom to do with this table what I thought would be best, which is everyone's dream client right?
I really wanted to go for a "Modern Fall" inspired look to complement this non-distressed farmhouse table when staging. I was attracted to blue and gold tones to enhance the brass detailing under the table.
Alisha over at @fortheloveoffloral created a beautifully designed fall floral arrangement that complimented this "Modern Fall" look beautifully! Her creative eye just stuns me. Go check her work out over at www.fortheloveoffloral.com! But hurry because she's already fully booked for August 2018!
Photos were taken by the beautiful Hannah Mansur over at @hannah.m.photo. Hannah's incredible photography talent, attention to detail, and light personality was such a compliment to my work style. Her creative ability to transform a space with the lens of her camera while giving the appearance that the space is shot in film just blows me away.
