One of the neatest things about being here in Sunriver with our church family for the week, has been watching all the parents do life. I have not seen a more diligent and loving group of parents. Specifically the dads who have all taken such an active role in raising their kiddos.
My husband has commented on how cool he thinks it is that the dads have really taken ownership over their dad role and are extremely intentional as husbands, which is not something you see often.
So here's a shout-out to all the papas out there who are killin their dad game! You rock!

We've been in Sunriver all week with our friends, enjoying some R&R, and playing lots of board games 😍
All of the girls have taken turns cooking dinner and tonight it's @justinemarie55 and I's turn!
We are making french Madeleines and a French blueberry Roulade for dessert which I am super excited about! Every time I make anything French it always takes me back to that amazing Paris trip last spring 😍😍

Introducing: "Arara Azul"
Named after the beautiful Hyacinth Macaw native to Brazil.
This mirror was quite the pesky little bugger to complete. First, there was finding the perfect Navy. I had a specific navy in mind and ended up making my own paint in the end 🤷🏽‍♀️ Then there was fixing the problem with the wobbling. When I received this mirror, the frame was lifted off the mirror itself and wobbled every time you handled it which required some innovation.

One of my favorite parts about staying in airbnb's is the inspiration you can get from the architecture, design, and landscaping layouts for your own home.

While I'm not a purely modern fan, as it can be a bit cold, I do love the combination of victorian, rustic, modern, and Brazilian elements.

Sometimes in my free time, I like to sketch up plans for our future home in my mind.
One of my goals this year is to learn to be proficient in CAD so hopefully I can start letting the sketches from my mind come alive!
